About Me
I’m Gaurav Agarwal, an entrepreneur driven by a passion for hospitality, real estate, and sustainability. My journey began in the early 2000s with a small 24-seater cafe called Rendezvous in Dehradun. What started as a modest venture soon became the foundation for everything I’ve built since—rooted in perseverance, purpose, and a belief in doing things with heart.
Hospitality is where I found my calling. Over the years, I expanded into institutional catering, and today, my team and I proudly serve over 5,000 nutritious meals daily to students across schools and colleges. It’s more than just food—it’s about ensuring young minds are well-nourished to chase their dreams.
My work has grown beyond the kitchen. In real estate, I manage multiple PGs and hostels for students and working professionals, always striving to create safe, comfortable, and welcoming spaces. My latest passion project is Malhar Stays, an eco-retreat near Chowki Dhaulas village. It’s a mini village concept with organic farming, a cow shed, yoga, jungle walks, and everything that celebrates slow, sustainable living.
Through Shugan Hospitality, my family and I also cater for weddings and large gatherings, bringing warmth and flavor to life’s biggest celebrations.
Every project I take on is more than just business; it’s about creating meaningful experiences, sustainable growth, and a positive impact. Whether it’s serving great food, building eco-friendly spaces, or leading social initiatives, my goal is to bring innovation and excellence to everything I do.
